On flight 6252 of Avianca, which departed from Guarulhos to Galeão yesterday around noon, a well-dressed young man convinced the captain to let him use the airplane’s sound system to make an announcement.

He started by singing “Amor sem beijinho/Bochecha sem Claudinho, sou eu assim sem você” (Love without a kiss/Cheek without Claudinho, this is how I am without you).

The flight continued...

And he announced: “After nine years together, will you marry me, César?”

César, all handsome in a navy-blue suit, went to the front and, to the sound of “kiss, kiss” from the passengers, accepted. The captain, getting into the spirit, said “May you be happy forever.”

Isn’t that sweet?
